![]() ![]() Woolly bear caterpillars seem to be everywhere these days – creeping across the lawn, along the road when I’m walking the dog, hidden in the wilted cut-back of the perennial garden.Hollow logs, piles of leaves, cracks in foundations and stacks of firewood are all good places to hide. Since caterpillars can't migrate south, their only option is to find a protected place to spend the winter. ![]()
